A tag-based URL bookmarking app built with Next.js 16 and React 19, letting users save and organize useful links under their own custom tags rather than fighting with folders or bookmark bars. Data is stored in MongoDB via Mongoose, while authentication runs through next-auth (v5 beta) with the MongoDB adapter and bcryptjs for password hashing. It includes a custom password reset flow utilizing secure database tokens checked as URL parameters on incoming reset email links.
The UI leans on Radix UI primitives (dialog, dropdown menu, tooltip, and more) composed with class-variance-authority and tailwind-merge on top of Tailwind CSS v4, with lucide-react for icons, sonner for toast notifications, and vaul for drawer components — JavaScript throughout, not TypeScript; any type-related scaffolding present is there only because shadcn/ui expects it, not because the project itself is typed.
MDX support (via @next/mdx and the associated loader/react packages) allows for rich, formatted content alongside stored links, and Resend handles transactional email delivery for the reset flow. LinkStore is, at heart, a personal knowledge-management tool: a way to build a durable, searchable library of the web’s useful corners instead of losing them to an ever-scrolling bookmarks menu.

GitHub & Demo
This project is deployed on Render’s free tier, so the demo app may take up to 30–60 seconds to load if it’s been inactive — the server spins down after periods of no traffic and needs a moment to wake back up. Thanks for your patience! Once it’s loaded, it should run smoothly.
